@cauldrononfire I agee 100% with that I do think Aldarion loved Erendis but not more than he loved the sea and that should have been enough for them both to call it day before it went to far
@cauldrononfire Exactly that, he tried to tell them but it was still no excuse for abandoning his family. As a result his daughter and heir became a man hating controlling mother who tried to ruin her own daughters life. I’m sure Aladrion and Erendis could have worked it all out if they tried
For one thing it didn’t fail! And it won’t fail because there is still some of us that can see the beauty of it and all the things it does right! It isn’t perfect and I have my issues with it but it has in no way failed and feels more Tolkien than other adaptions so far imo 🤦♀️
@be_like_ice The amount times I’ve asked someone what I’ve said and/or done that’s offended them and they respond with ‘you should know’ and I’m like well I don’t that’s why I’m asking now please tell me so I don’t make the mistake again. It’s really not that hard 🤦♀️
@ThrillaRilla369 My youngest is non-verbal so obviously teaching him won’t work yet but I set an example for him so that if he ever can talk he’ll have the right tools to learn
@ThrillaRilla369 I don’t think forcing it is the correct way! With my oldest (he’s autistic and developmentally delayed) has gotten really good at the pleases and thankyou’s, he needs a little reminder sometimes but all I’ve ever done is encourage it and remind him when necessary.
@tolkienzone That isn’t true, it was right in the middle of principle photography and they had to reshoot it twice because Sean Astin put the wrong waistcoat on after lunch and the second time it was all out of focus. The 4 hobbit actors have said they hated doing those scenes
