📉💀A Grading Nightmare 📉💀
Imagine dropping $30,000 on a pristine 1999 Pokémon Base Set Booster Box, ripping it fresh from the packs, sending the vintage holo hits straight to PSA, and getting smacked with a wave of PSA 6s and 7s! 😭💸
Talk about a complete PSA Graded Pokemon Booster Box Disaster. Ripping vintage is already a massive gamble, but when pack-fresh hits come back valuing at a fraction of the cost—like a Blastoise Holo pulling a PSA 6 worth $140.50 or a Raichu Holo getting a PSA 6 worth $38.15—it is a brutal financial hit.
Check out the viral breakdown from @meesterkeem showing the absolute destruction of a $30k box return. It begs the question:
1️⃣ Did PSA do him dirty? Pack-fresh doesn't always mean a 10 (print lines, factory scratches, and centering issues from 1999 are real), but straight 6s on clean pulls feels incredibly harsh.
2️⃣ Should he crack and regrade? Or send them over to BGS/CGC to see if they get fairer treatment?
3️⃣ Do people still trust PSA for vintage? Or are the pop-control rumors starting to feel a little too real?
Drop your thoughts below. 👇 Would you crack and resubmit, or is this just the harsh reality of vintage factory condition?

🚨 WHOSE FAULT IS IT?! PSA vs. FedEx 📦💥
Absolutely heartbreaking to see a fresh return to @dashvolttcg whose submission end up completely shattered like this. @dashvolttcg video has gained over 1 million views in disbelief of his destroyed cards from PSA. While the original poster blamed courier handling, the comment section is heavily divided on who is truly at fault. Half the community points fingers at the carrier, with former employees noting that sending collectibles without extreme precaution is a massive gamble. However, a growing faction argues that the root cause lies with PSA's packaging standards. As users pointed out, poor or cutting-corners packaging by the grading company before it even leaves the facility leaves these rigid plastic slabs highly vulnerable to impact.
This isn't just an isolated case of bad luck, either. Long-time collectors are noting that they have seen more and more PSA returns arriving to owners completely compromised. This pattern has raised serious concerns about whether PSA is being negligent in their quality control and shipping procedures. When premium grading fees are paid, collectors expect elite-tier protection. If these instances keep happening, it forces the community to question if the company is doing enough to secure our investments or if they are simply banking on insurance claims to clean up preventable shipping disasters.

Jason Paige later in the video explains that the signature he put on the AGS card usually costs someone $125. Plus the grading costs on it usually total to around $25
#Pokemontcg
Jason Paige says the kid came back to his booth and traded the AGS promo card for another Jason Paige auto. He is also willing to trade the Gengar back for another trade.

🤯The Gengar traded could of been worth as little as $36 from what Jason Paige showed🤯
In the video Jason Paige shows that the signature on the AGS graded promo card would cost a person $125. Plus he had the free card graded by AGS which would be an additional cost of around $25 including fees and shipping.
So with this additional information whose side are you on?

Jack could of used this....
This life jacket helped someone survive one of the most tragic nights in history and was signed by the original owner and some other survivors.
It wasn’t made to be collectible.
It wasn’t preserved for value.
It was worn in a moment of pure survival.
Today, that same life jacket just sold for over $900,000.
Not because of materials.
Not because of rarity alone.
But because of what it represents.
A direct connection to the Titanic… and the people who lived through it.
There are collectibles… and then there are artifacts that carry history.
Final Sale Price on this 1969 Led Zeppelin Band-Signed Led Zeppelin II Vinyl Record (4 Signatures): $73,200
