Schengen EES delays are very real this summer. Donโt assume a business class ticket will save you from long immigration ques.
For those unaware, EES (Entry/Exit System) is the new EU border system where non Schengen travelers biometrics and passport details are recorded digitally at entry and exit. That extra processing time is adding up fast at many airports.
A lot of travelers confuse fast track with immi priority, but in most EU airports fast track only applies to security. Unless the airport has a separate immi or gold track lane, everyone ends up in the same que.
I got lucky at CDG because we were traveling with our 8 yr old and they had a separate que for families. Even then, passport processing at the counter took almost 15 mins because of the new EES procedures.
On our return from MXP, there was no separate que for families or business class passengers, so we joined the regular immi line like everyone else. The que itself took around 30 mins, although processing at the counter was much faster, probably because our entry was already recorded at CDG.
If youโre traveling to Europe from a non Schengen country this summer, build extra buffer time into your plans, especially at your first Schengen entry point. Thatโs where the longest delays are likely.
To anyone travelling who can use this.
Travelled via Qatar Airways. BOM to NYC.
Super smooth. No delays. Mumbai flights are a priority for them.
Tweeting from the flight because of Starlink.
This just opened in Rajasthan and I can't stop thinking about it ๐คฏ

Looking for a sunscreen that lasts 4โ5 hrs and can be reapplied on the go without using hands.
No white cast, nonsticky/oily, full spectrum. For face, neck & forearms.
Any solid recommendations?

@tejasghongadi Damn! My inbound flight to Bom is in the 2nd week of May, still shows no changes. Looks like I need to monitor the booking more closely.
What a fascinating interplay of perspective, atmosphere, and scale, this image subtly captures the quiet tension between permanence and transience. The mountains stand resolute, yet the drifting clouds remind us how fleeting even the grandest views can be. Almost feels like nature briefly paused to let this moment exist.
