HISTORY-MAKERS: The first-ever Kemper County High School girls flag football team will officially take the field for the first time tonight. The Lady Wildcats will be facing Laurel as part of a three-game set being hosted at Ray Stadium at Meridian High School.
MOVING ON: Our No. 2 ranked Lady Wildcats routed Baldwyn in Round 2. KCHS girls, who are 27-2 overall and have won 15 in a row, will play in the "Elite Eight" state quarterfinals next Sat. at Northeast Mississippi Community College. Lady Wildcats have now won 23 straight at home.
