@PamelaApostolo1 Canada benefits from being a neighbor of the USA. Spends very little on its own military and only contributes 1.4% of GDP to NATO, instead of the 2% that’s required. Add in the trade surplus and you see easily, how the USA is subsidizing Canada. Canada can’t survive without US.
