@Teslarati My sister went from a LEAF to another LEAF to an Outlander PHEV, now to a Corsair gas. Now asking to borrow everyone's cars because we all have EVs and she doesn't want to pay for fuel.
@gregm12@BillsR_Electric@itskyleconner@RoamingNorway I usually stop every 2 hours to charge. It takes about 10% longer to get to Orlando from Toronto than driving a gas car. Luckily I'm not heading to the US for the next several years, so it doesn't really matter anymore. ๐
@TesCalendar1 ... until you get into a Silverado EV group and see them bitching about slow and expensive charging.
Essentially they're complaining about piss poor efficiency.
@billbucklley @mdt546 Seems to be just fine in my neighborhood. Lots of EVs and lots of solar installs. Keep in mind that the sun doesn't shine when the cars are charging and everyone is sleeping.
@mdt546 I've driven this vehicle for 7 winters and hardly ever use public charging stations. I can answer any questions you have. Saves me about $10,000/yr on gasoline.
@ToonLibertarian@KEriksenV2 They're certainly not coming to Toronto or where I live in Kitchener. Way too much housing supply and lots of vacancies. I can't sell my house due to lack of demand.
@kab98623152@shindig101 @ContrarianTribe What does Carney have to do with taxes that go to the city of Calgary and the province of Alberta? Not a federal tax.
