Highly trained volunteers responding to 999 life threatening emergencies in the High Peak region of the Peak District. Partners with @EMASNHSTrust @EMAS_CFR
We would like to introduce you to the latest member of our team - CFR40.
CFR40 is our all electric response vehicle provided by East Midlands Ambulance Sevice. It will enable us to provide better patient care to the people of the High Peak and Tideswell.

Another #EMAZING collaboration with @NedCfr and Tideswell CFR group to provide cover for the Buxton Lantern Parade and Christmas Lights.

Emazing teamwork. Three Derbyshire schemes working together to provide cover for the Buxton Fireworks Spectacular. Thanks to Simon and Mark from @NedCfr and Dave from the Tideswell CFR Group.

If you’ve called 111 or 999 and have been told you’ll get a call back, it means the patient’s condition isn’t immediately life threatening or serious. When we ring, you may be asked if you can make your own way to a treatment centre eg if a relative can take you by car?
@AmandaC05390444@EMASNHSTrust@EMAS_CFR Thank you Amanda for all of your support from all at the High Peak Group. Will miss your greeting and welfare checks. Hope you're back with us in the future.
We are so grateful to our 1,400 community first responders who volunteer to respond to 999 calls in their local communities in their spare time.
A big hello to all our CFRs who are logged on today - give us a wave 👋

It’s exciting that pubs and restaurants are opening tomorrow but we need you to be sensible if you plan to go out. You have a responsibility to look after yourself by knowing your limits, planning your journey, wearing a face covering where needed and to wash your hands.
Let's hear it for all the dads working or volunteering for us today to keep our communities in the East Midlands safe 👏👏👏 Thank you for all you do every day, but especially today #HappyFathersDay
Our #EMAZING Volunteer Community First Responders have and will continue to respond to emergencies throughout the current pandemic. Their support remains invaluable, making the difference to patient care in their communities and beyond. - JH
Rest assured we are still supporting our communities and assisting our EMAS colleagues. We will continue to provide cover to our community, but more importantly remember you are all a community, look out for each other and take care of each other #StayHomeSaveLives
It will take more than storm Dennis to stop us providing an emergency response to our communities. If you do need assistance at any point during this event here is a guide as to when to call 999 for assistance with any damage.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
For the Fallen by Robert Laurence Binyon. #RemembranceSunday
Helping our communities comes in different shapes. Tonight 4 of our responders provided first aid cover for the Buxton Lions Group annual firework display.
