The HighResNPS team would like to thank @TIAFT_Tweets for supporting us and allowing this project to continue. This project could not have gone ahead without those at the University of Copenhagen who created this resource in addition to the data provided by our valuable users.
Thank you to Aaron Shapiro on including HighResNPS in yesterday's edition of the Forensic Lab Talks hosted by @WileyGlobal , @The_AAFS and @JFS.
Title: High Performance Computing Tools to Identify Novel Psychoactive Substances in Toxicology Samples
The HighResNPS June/July 2024 libraries are now available for download.
The libraries contain 2,326 compounds (+3), of which 1,666 have at least one product ion (+8).
We now have 448 users from 47 countries, with Bahrain recently added to this list.
UNODC considers designer benzodiazepines (DBZD) to be a current primary threat among NPS. Castle et al. (incl. @dgerostamoulos) reported the detection of a new emerging DBZD, clobromazolam, using HRMS and the https://t.co/2BmyuNjIcz database. Read it all➡️https://t.co/hCt6iXrb4T
The October 2023 libraries are now available for download on https://t.co/L6m3jfCCsZ.
The libraries contain 2,329 compounds (+11), of which 1,658 have at least one product ion (+18).
Trobbiani, @bobsmedog & Kostakis developed a method for screening SCRAs and opioids in whole blood by LC-QTOF-MS with simultaneous suspect screening using the @HighResNPS database. The method was applied to 61 forensic cases. Want to know what they found?➡️https://t.co/6bl0aPQu0F
If you see this, don't panic! We are currently migrating HighResNPS to a new home and we anticipate the website will be operational within the next 24 hours.
Nice evaluation of the @HighResNPS database with predicted retention times and MS/MS spectra matching for routine analysis by @strobbia and @bobsmedog.
Definitely some food for thought on our end for future developments.

If you're at @TIAFT 2023, be sure to check out Monday's lunch time scientific workshop by @Agilent:
“Combining compound information from the @HighResNPS with the Agilent LC/Q-TOF MassHunter Screening Tool for large-scale analysis of New Psychoactive Substances”
It's been a while⌛️, but the January 2023 libraries are now available in most major LC-HRMS library formats from https://t.co/eRf97jjYLh.
This library contains 2,287 unique compounds of which, 1,604 have product ion data.

Happy New Year! Admittedly the admins were a ~little~ slack last year in generating libraries, however, we will be providing new libraries in the next month after having received a large number of entries from @LukeRodda and his team in San Francisco!
We are now using a centralised email address so if you have any questions or wish to be added to the database, please send an email to [email protected]
