@elonmusk If you need a software editor to help write something, I don’t see what the problem is. Wire it in notepad unassisted and there will be no issues.
@fundrise Since most startups fail and even the unicorns are frequently propped up with VC money and do not justify existing otherwise, unsophisticated investors are likely going to lose their lunch and dinner in a paper bag. You argue with SEC about accredited investor rules.
@KissIsTheKey the fallacy of this argument: if all parents are fully capable of making the best choices for their kids, then they should be able to still generate great outcome for their kids despite bad schools. Reality: schools are not able to help kids due to lack of parent support at home.
@Glockches7er @B_ellisss @PhilaMathia But you can’t take it away. I don’t care if the TDs are magically added to the stats sheet… either you have them or you don’t. Find me a football player would would refuse an easier score.
@texiana36@BrandonStraka@JamesDAttwood Pretty much every counsel argues that the opposing counsel doesn’t know the law (or cites/applies/relies the wrong ones) … so legal practice is basically blah blah blah in your opinion?
@texiana36@BrandonStraka@JamesDAttwood The prosecutors on the case disagrees with you. I’m not even going to be snarky like you. Let people do their jobs, I’m sure you enjoyed people telling you how to exercise your professional opinion.
@ULTRA_MAJESTY @Travis_in_Flint You do realize the left advocates for less wealth gap (toward socialism) and the right advocates for wider wealth gap for people to be more self-sufficient so one’s merit determines one’s fortune (so there is no “they”) in determining one’s life (toward market capitalism)
@Travis_in_Flint “They” are capitalists who prioritize profit over human conditions. I can’t quite figure out what ideology this post is advocating but it reads kind of socialist.
@texiana36@BrandonStraka@JamesDAttwood Btw I know prosecutors from both perspectives. I think if anyone disagrees with government wants to make a different, choose a career in government and be the difference.
@texiana36@BrandonStraka@JamesDAttwood They can and will do so in their discretion. They are empowered and tasked with maintaining law and order. You might disagree but they are just doing their jobs the way THEY see fit, I see it’s THEIR jobs. If it is your job you are within rights to decide otherwise.
@texiana36@BrandonStraka@JamesDAttwood There is prosecutorial discretion for a reason. They can decide to make an example out of people who actually broke the law. Again, not prosecuting doesn’t mean laws weren’t broken. You are free to argue prosecutors are being harsh, but that’s not proof they didn’t break the law
@texiana36@BrandonStraka@JamesDAttwood Public buildings are not absolute, they’re also subject to limits and exemptions. For example, military bases. There’s also a broad exemption if restrictions are deemed in public interest by government itself. Even public parks can be closed at night and subject to trespass …
@texiana36 We don’t have to debate federal law here. There is a forum which are the federal courts. They can go to trial and also appeal if they want to. Laws are interpreted through past decisions, so if what you arguing is valid then they shall not be convicted ultimately.
@texiana36@BrandonStraka@JamesDAttwood There are plenty of notice, becasue most government buildings are not freely entered, you would have to pass through security. There were security barriers around the capitol that was breached.
