Kier Starmer has turned into Labour's equivalent of John Major.
His hopelessness & haplessness as Prime Minister is exceeded only by the relentlessness with which he clings to office, when his credibility is totally non-existent.
@TimesRadio#KierHasNoMandate
@PeterStefanovi2 Proving that we are prospering outside the corrupt EU institutions, just as Vote Leave said we would.
Which proves that we do not need to re-attach ourselves to that shower.
@LabourfutureUK Apart from the Northern Ireland veterans, who are being hounded by lawyers 50 years on, for acting lawfully in impossible conditions, in order for Labour to pander to our terrorist enemies.
@10DowningStreet This nationalised industry will go the same way as every previous nationalised industry.
Efficiency and punctuality will plummet, and it will turn into a shambles.
@AlistairCarns No, it won't go towards fixing a train.
Now that there is no commercial competition, there is no incentive to fix trains.
It will go into a government black hole.
@benonwine Norman Tebbit
But for the Brighton bomb, he would have been there or thereabouts to succeed Mrs Thatcher as PM.
If the succession had been orderly, rather than the knifing which took place, the subsequent history of Britain, and the Conservatives, could have been very different.
@BenObeseJecty Because if the example of their grandparents who served in Northern Ireland in the 1970s is any guide, if they do sign up & serve, they can look forward to being hounded in 50 years time, by lefty lawyers representing our enemies, for doing their best in impossible circumstances.
@TiceRichard Given that your Party's stated aim, above everything else, is to destroy the Conservative Party, it is a bit rich for you to complain about them being not very willing to co-operate with you.
What goes around, comes around . . .
@PolitlcsUK@Moreincommon_ Let's see how long the "Anyone But Starmer" bounce lasts once Scouser Burnham actually announces his detailed programme for government.

@SophyRidgeSky Wes Streeting is beginning to play a current Michael Portillo to Starmer's John Major - endlessly plotting, but expecting someone else to fire the first shot for him

@narindertweets@jdpoc Nobody is claiming that Reform took over the country.
However, it is is impossible to deny that
- they got more votes than anyone else.
- they won more seats than anyone else.
Which means that they are entirely justified in claiming that they won the 2026 council elections.
@dan__swords Would this result be due to Conservatives having a local infrastructure, and fielding candidates who have a track record of local service, campaigning, commitment, and a track record of achievement?
Not of gimmicky and empty promises.
Just asking . . .
@DominicFarrell Is it true that in army families, with multiple generations of service, parents & grandparents who have previously served, are now telling their children & grandchildren, the new generation, not to join today's British armed forces?
