FootballMatter, as a football lover for over 2 decades, I must say that this whole “Agenda” Idea didn’t start with Messi fans. You know this.

See ehn, a player’s personality would normally rub off on their fanbase. It is Cristiano Ronaldo that has always talked down on things Messi has achieved more than him.

1. Ronaldo (NOT his fans) discredited the Balon D’Or the moment Messi had more than him.

2. When Ronaldo had more Golden boots, he (NOT his fans) claimed that was a better metric to determine who the best is until Messi got more.

3. Ronaldo (NOT his fans) replied “offcourse, Offcourse” when host said Messi isn’t the greatest Argentinian.

4. Ronaldo (NOT his fans) has liked multiple post from blogs and journalist that talks down on Messi.

5. Ronaldo (NOT his fans) talked down on the FIFA World Cup as 7-game tournament. If Ronaldo was the Highest goalscorer in WC history and Messi didn’t have a World Cup, I bet you Ronaldo wouldn’t say such a thing about the World Cup.

6. Ronaldo talked down on players going to play outside Europe until he went to Saudi and then said it was better than Ligue 1 simply because Messi played there.

Imagine reaching 3 World Cup finals out of 6 and winning 1, and some fanbase comes and start trolling you saying all manner of things trying to water down the FIFA WORLD CUP just because their favorite hasn’t won it
