We are thoroughly enjoying our science topic ‘Awe and Wonder.’ Lots of different experiments, lots of fun and lots of learning. The children really enticed cleaning Mrs Bradbury’s pennies! It was like magic! #HSTMSHINE @StHighfield @LDSTEducation

What a fun fun fun art lesson (sorry parents for the paint splattered shoes.) we spent the afternoon splattering paint onto paper. When they’re dry, we’re going to see if the paints splatters have made any images such as people or animals. #HSTMSHINE @StHighfield @LDSTEducation

Something really bizarre happened yesterday. A basket full of tangerines completely disappeared from the classroom. We had to search high and low to find them. The children are convinced Mr Lovgreen stole them. We even same him with a tangerine peel in his pocket!! #HSTMSHINE

Who knew raisins could dance? Our science topic this term is all about experimenting! And what a great one to start the term. We predicted what might happen and recorded our results. Miss C even took the children outside to show them what happens when you shake up fizzy water 😂
