When comparing the small money she got against the financial loss she will get through reputation damage, she actually will lose massive amounts of money over this.

In 2008 I was dissuaded from following my dream of becoming a computer programmer.
Now, at the age of 31, I'm just about to finish my first semester of a software engineering degree.
It's never too late, I taught myself for 3 years and it was the best investment I've ever made!
