There are so many YP who won't even get the pleasure of shite grades. I see you. For what it's worth (& if you're a parent/carer tell your YP), I was excluded from every school I went to so no grades for me for me at 16. Have worked for myself/ran my own business for 13 years, authored books, travelled the world with work and now doing my PhD at @UniofOxford Here's the thing... The journey that took you to missing out on today may well be the gift that is the journey out of it ;) #GCSEResultsDay
Our Professional Learning programme from now until the end of 2023 has been set, and links to all of our upcoming webinars, online courses and modules can be found here in our recent blog post.

Fab discussions at the ES staff conference about how all of us can individually and collectively change our ways of working to improve and enhance how we support Scottish education.
With a new school year lots of teachers, pupils & their families will be thinking about #SupportPlanning.
It's important that children know they have the right to support.
Reach has a whole section dedicated to helping children understand their rights 👇

Progress! There's now a shortcut to the Accessibility Settings on Glow managed Chromebooks so pupils should be able to easily use text-to-speech, voice typing, live captions and adjust the keyboard and mouse settings.
The Newsetter also has a list of apps and extensions that can be added to Glow-managed Chromebooks, including accessibility tools such as Clicker, Read&Write, Immersive Reader. Your local authority has to approve these. https://t.co/QNTDhTqjuY
This is great! Now just need to make sure everyone knows this is possible. @CALLScotland team will be raising awareness of these really useful apps and extensions to support learners with ASN who are using chromebooks.
Many people with dyslexia struggle to take notes while in meetings. Did you know you can set up Teams to ‘transcribe’ and automatically capture what everyone says, then download the notes? No more typing, minute taking or being distracted by spellings: https://t.co/ItSb2DygJ6
To celebrate our online shop's first birthday today, we're giving you 15% off selected products. Use the code BIRTHDAY1 at checkout until 29 August. 🎉🎈🥳

🤦People don’t have ‘undiagnosed neurodiversity’ it’s not a medical condition.
Neurodiversity includes those who could be described as neurotypical alongside others who are neurodivergent and it’s really well documented as such.
Are you a UK uni student aged 18-23? Please help Simon from @sunderlanduni with #research into early vs late #dyslexia diagnosis. Self-diagnosed and non-dyslexics can take part too.
10-minute online questionnaire. Thanks!
