In partnership with parents and guided by the Gospel, Highlands Latin School strives to educate students to the highest standards of the classical tradition.
Highlands Latin School is proud to announce that four members of the Class of 2026 have received appointments to the U.S. Air Force Academy: Caleb Bryant, Max Ingram, Max LePrell, and Max McFarland.
The achievement is extraordinary. Each year, the Academy receives around 11,000 applications and selects fewer than 1,100 students nationwide. This year, our graduating class of just 35 students produced four appointees.
Congratulations to these young men! Watch the full video on our website about this remarkable achievement: https://t.co/aS9snxkqYM

Grammar School wrapped up recitations for the school year, and the students did a fantastic job presenting selections that reflected just a fraction of all they have memorized and worked on throughout the year.
We are proud of their diligence throughout the year and their confidence in presenting what they have learned.

This morning, Upper School students took part in their end-of-year recitation program, presenting selections of music, poetry, and literature they have studied and memorized throughout the year. For some, it was their final recitation before graduation, and for others, their first in Upper School. It is always rewarding to see the growth and accomplishment these students demonstrate through their work.
Recitations will be available to watch on our YouTube channel in the coming days!
Today, our seniors gave us a glimpse into their futures, representing over 20 universities in their soon-to-be alma mater spirit wear! We are incredibly proud of the hard work that brought them to this moment, and we look forward to all that awaits them in the months ahead. 🎓
After studying great artists, artistic styles, and timeless works of art throughout the year, our K-6 students had the opportunity to exhibit some of their own creations at this year’s art shows.
The study of art cultivates an appreciation for beauty, and the work displayed by these students reflects their pursuit of the true, the good, and the beautiful.
Awards are rolling out this time of year! Seven seventh graders received the Mendeleev pin for memorizing the entire periodic table along with the atomic masses. A great feat worthy of recognition! 👏🏅

Inspired by their literature study of Miss Rumphius, our first graders celebrated with their annual garden party. They enjoyed crafts, snacks, and planting flowers to add a little more beauty to our campuses. 🌷🌻🪻

Could you recite all 50 states and capitals with the state abbreviation and year admitted to the Union in chronological order?
These third graders did just that and earned the Washington Award! We are so proud of their hard work and impressive memorization skills.
The Upper School Derby Race is a tradition that never lacks entertainment! Students from grades 7-12 team up as unique "horse and rider" duos to compete for House points and, of course, bragging rights.
