My #Kacchako WIPs 🥰:
Firsts - (a bit of a canon rewrite if you will; coming of age/romance/minor angst story) https://t.co/LUdZFFRNaK
No Vacancies - (aged up Kacchako; very romcom) https://t.co/zu8jNBEw5v
i swear like 90% of editing chapters is searching “definition of” “synonym for” and the other 10% is fact checking cannon and remembering what the fuck i wrote a year ago for continuity😭😭
i’ve been editing the last two chapters of no vacancies and i’ve been stressing over my em dash usage 😭 like grammatically it’s what needs to be used here but ya’ll see to be on a damn witch hunt
“imagine being 30 on ao3” the backbone of fandom being 30+ yr old doctors, lawyers, teachers, service workers, stay at home moms, and folks who have been in fandom for two or more decades…
"Living without ai is an impossible utopia" bruh we were living it like 5 years ago and we were doing just fine without that shit. You're letting your brain be cooked on slow heat. And your planet too. In exchange for wrong answers and shitty pics.
@FlorziChako more or less the same but a lot more active. i guess there were more shipping wars bc the manga/anime was still ongoing so all ships were more active & there was a lot of fighting with bakudeku shippers going on round these parts but that’s all i can remember 🧐👵🏼
i don’t got a lot to add to this discourse of ongoing long fics other than…i have an ongoing long fic that i haven’t updated in months but i think about daily. i started it in 2020 & im thankful for everyone that’s taken a chance on it and continues to support 🥹
the problem is not that millenials dont want these sensible starter homes. its that baby boomers expect to be paid mcmansion prices for their sensible starter home that hasnt been updated since the 70s
the main reason a lot of multichapter fanfics don't get finished is because the writers don't get any feedback and think no one's interested in the story being finished but okay
the ageism in fandom spaces is exhausting. like ok you’re 15, congrats, but adult fans built the spaces you’re using. fanfic archives, conventions, entire communities existed long before tiktok. you think adults shouldn't be fans, while i think you shouldn't have access to wifi.
