3R's summary from this week: The tribe had a meeting where they discussed Tenko and his axe. Whilst Tenko was asleep, Korwen tried to steal the axe but Brockan stopped him and cut him with the axe! Tenko took the punishment for Brockan and is now part of the tribe of Skara!

Today we have been learning how to do a running stitch! We worked really hard on our perseverance in learning this new skill! 🐢

Set in the Stone Age, Kali and her brother went out to sea to collect some food. The problem was, they could not get back to shore because the tide had come in and they were stuck! Next we will find out more...

We had a fantastic time in computing learning about algorithms which are precise instructions. We had a great time exploring how to make Kubo (the robot) move!

We have been looking at what makes a sentence! The children worked very hard to make sure they wrote a sentence with a subject, verb and object!

We had such a lovely time during SPLAT this afternoon. It was so lovely having so many adults :) The children enjoyed further deepening their understanding of the Ancient Maya through learning about their beliefs, their food, their number system and the way in which they write.

We really enjoyed showing great Teamwork today when making our rainforest dioramas. We not only had to work in pairs to make a layer of the rainforest (Emergent, Canopy, Understory or Forest floor) but we also had to try and work with others to ensure all the levels matched up!

We had a fantastic afternoon exploring how some materials have more friction and some have less! We did a brilliant job at trying to make our experiment a fair test and also at recording down our results. ⛸️🧪🧑‍🔬
