The latest Museum talk - An Evening with Michael Cann" - is now online. Visit https://t.co/sWUnq28Lh6 to hear the former batter and off-spinner talk about his time in county cricket, in South Africa post-Apartheid and in the world of pharmaceuticals.
@patrick_kidd Hi Patrick - I`m afraid you have incorrectly described the Sobers 6x6. The fielder, Roger Davis, actually fell backwards across (not stepped over ) the ropes. Had the regulations been as per 1967, Sobers would have been out. There was a new Law for 1968.
@patrick_kidd Hi Patrick - As Hon Sec of the ACS and 1st XI scorer to Glamorgan. I was very interested by your "veterans" team, which excludes the two of the most successful bowlers in Championship cricket since 2013 in Chris Rushworth (Durham) and Michael Hogan (Glamorgan).
@patrick_kidd Hi Patrick - as a former geography teacher, I really enjoyed your Places XI. I wondered how close Anthony Ireland, ex Middx and Glos. was to selection??
When Head of Geography at Wells Cathedral School, I believe I had the perfect address - it was 1 Penn Close, Wells, Somerset.

@PodcastPeldroed @simon_price01 @GlamCricket@CricketAus@NeathRugby It is Australia when the touring teams play a Test or One-Day International. It is the Australians when the touring teams play the individual county teams.
@antgib Enjoying the commentary here in Cardiff prior to lockdown! Perhaps you could remind Nick that the beauty of the system proposed for 2021is that at the start of the season, everyone has a chance of winning the title, not just the top division. e.g. Derbyshire in 2020
