Someone has to be made accountable for Bato’s escape.
No less than the DILG Secretary and PNP Chief entered the senate building last night to secure the senators.
The public was assured last night Bato was in the “5th foor, in his room, resting”. Bato’s lawyer showed a video last night of Bato supposedly in the senate.
The senate building should’ve been secured last night - no one in, no one out.
We need answers. How did Bato escape? Who helped him?
On the House impeachment vote against Vice President Sara Duterte
Today, the 20th Congress House of Representatives will make history.
Under two different Congresses, the House will impeach Vice President Sara Duterte for a second time.
With at least 215 votes expected to impeach the Vice President—the same number as last year’s impeachment vote—she will soon be made to face an impeachment trial on the basis of unexplained wealth, confidential funds misuse, threats against the President, and bribery, all founded on a broad and solid body of evidence, testimonies, and documents presented before the House Committee on Justice.
At this point, the evidence has clearly established probable cause for betrayal of public trust and culpable violation of the Constitution.
On unexplained wealth alone, the figures are staggering.
The House Committee on Justice found approximately ₱6.77 billion in total transactions linked to the accounts of the Vice President and her spouse, including around ₱4.43 billion in inflows, ₱1.5 billion in outflows, and approximately ₱2.88 billion in net inflows that remained in the banks.
Yet in her 2024 Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth, the Vice President declared a net worth of only ₱88.5 million.
The scale of these transactions cannot be reasonably explained by lawful income, declared assets, or the businesses and professional activities attributed to the couple.
The committee also found strong basis to hold the Vice President accountable for the misuse of confidential funds, particularly after the Commission on Audit ordered the return of approximately ₱448 million as personal liability arising from disallowed and unsupported confidential fund expenditures.
On the issue of threats against the President, the evidence is likewise direct and overwhelming. Video recordings authenticated and validated during committee proceedings clearly show that the Vice President intentionally and publicly made threats against the President, the First Lady, and the former Speaker of the House.
Taken together, these acts constitute a clear showing of betrayal of public trust and culpable violation of the Constitution.
Today’s vote is therefore not merely a political exercise.
It is a constitutional act of accountability.
And as the House prepares to vote, we must remember that this process does not belong to any one politician, party, or institution alone.
This fight is ultimately the nation’s fight—for truth, for accountability, for justice.
HOW THE PEOPLE STOPPED DDS HIJACKING
Chavit Singon, Phillip Salvador, Ferdinand Topacio, Rowena Guanzon, and other anti-Marcos but pro-Duterte personalities…
All of them went to the People Power Monument on EDSA corner White Plains and Ortigas.
All of them went thinking they could join and be welcomed in the biggest anti-corruption protest by the people in years.
All of them left with their heads bowed and egos humiliated.
Chavit Singson was booed, cursed at, and even shouted by the protesters na “hulihin na yan!”
Phillip Salvador was booed, called epal, and even told by some protesters “magbigay ka muna ng sustento!”
Ferdinand Topacio suffered a worse fate - used to getting so much attention, not many cars were stopping or beeping their horns for him.
He also wasn’t welcomed near the People Power Monument and only allowed near Gate 4 of Camp Aguinaldo where protesters knew the DDS were hoping for a coup.
He didn’t stay long in EDSA and left soon after in the morning to go to the Liwasang Bonifacio where 300-hundred strong DDS protesters welcomed him finally.
Rowena Guanzon suffered the worst fate.
She went to the Luneta rally and was noticed a bit by media and photographers but after that, no attention from her fellow protesters and the public at large.
She retreated back to a hotel lobby and got a consuelo de bobo interview by a social media
blogger.
Then, from Luneta she went to the People Power Monument and she wasn’t booed. But she wasn’t also cheered at.
People were civil to her. But no one paid much attention to her. People were avoiding her.
That is a fate worse than being booed.
What’s common among all of them is that they failed to read the room - most if not all of them went to EDSA thinking a “Marcos resign!” call was popular or that a regime change was in the offing.
They thought given EDSA ONE, DOS, and TRES, that the protest in EDSA would mimic rallying cries calling for the incumbent President to step down and/or worse, be ousted by a coup.
But people now know better.
Organizers were clear days before and during the day of the rally - the protest wasn’t JUST anti-Marcos, it was anti-Duterte and anti-corruption.
Progressives and the middle class were already fooled once during EDSA DOS.
Back then, there was a debate whether or not to call for “Resign ALL!” or just “Erap Resign!”.
Since Gloria Arroyo still generally smelled good then, the Erap Resign prevailed.
But many well meaning and smart people already knew GMA was not going to be good.
And they were proven right. And the people who joined EDSA DOS experienced People Power fatigue or regime change fatigue.
They. We. I. Have learned our lesson.
Especially now when the Vice President is obviously an unacceptable replacement even if BBM resigns.
And this is what DDS stooges failed to read and learn from.
They thought they would be welcomed and cheered. They thought they could exploit the people’s anger again.
But people now know better.
Especially when these stooges all have clear political interests and are mere hypocrites in calling for a specific regime change.
Despite the minority of bashers, Vice Ganda is correct about BBM.
We want him to pursue accountability of all corrupt politicians not because we trust him or he is our idol.
But because we pay his salary as President from taxpayers money.
We will not be used by the Marcoses, the Dutertes, Chavit Singson, or anyone else.
We want genuine accountability and then genuine change - spend our taxes correctly so we don’t get flooded and the economy gets better.
Don’t try us, mga ka-DDS.

Look:
UP Law Maritime expert Professor Jay Batongbacal minces no words as to whose interests Rodente Marcoleta is protecting and forwarding.
No to Tsinadors! 👊
THE BETRAYAL OF TSINADOR RODENTE MARCOLETA
❌ Tsinador Rodente Marcoleta: “I-give up na lang natin yung Kalayaan Island Group. Wala naman yan sa Exclusive Economic Zone natin.”
✅ Senador Ping Lacson: “Atin ang Kalayaan Island Group under Presidential Decree No. 1596.” 💯
Almost buried under the news of a failed Senate coup is the shocking exchange between TSINATOR Marcoleta and Captain Jess B. Pilar, who was being confirmed by the Commission on Appointments.
Out of nowhere and irrelevant to the appointment of Captain Pilar, Marcoleta inserted the issue of the West Philippine Sea and again insisted that there is no certainty as to our rights and ownership in the West Philippine Sea.
He falsely claimed that the Kalayaan Island Group (aka Spratlys) was not ours AND mixed up the concept of territorial ownership under the Montevideo Convention and public international law with the concept of exclusive economic zone under the UNCLOS.
Buti na lang, andyan si Senator Ping Lacson!
Lacson SCHOOLED Marcoleta about international law and Philippine law — he traced the history of how the Philippines acquired ownership of the Kalayaan Island Group (KIG)
Lacson said that the KIG was discovered and occupied by Tomas Cloma, who was a Filipino lawyer and navigator, under the doctrine of res nullius — which means “nobody’s property” that when occupied becomes the property of the discoverer and occupier.
Tomas Cloma transferred ownership to the Philippine Republic which was formalized when in 1978 then President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. issued Presidential Decree No. 1596, which declared the Kalayaan Island Group as part of Philippine territory.
Hindi alam ni Rodente Marcoleta yan as a lawyer?! 👊
Ang mas malala, when Marcoleta says we should give up the Kalayaan Island Group eh he forgets that 400 Filipinos live in Barangay Pag-Asa, Kalayaan Island, Palawan!
Walang ibang conclusion kundi Marcoleta is unpatriotic and does not prioritize the welfare and interests of Filipino people and the Republic of the Philippines!
Otherwise stated, Marcoleta prioritizes the welfare and interest of China instead! 😡
TSINADOR indeed. 👊
Buti na lang, Captain Pilar did not succumb to the bullying of Marcoleta and Senator Ping Lacson was there to correct the misinformation and China propaganda of Marcoleta.
More power, Captain Pilar and Senator Ping! 🇵🇭

🚨BREAKING
In a radio show interview, Senator Ping Lacson said that he has information about Curlee Discaya asking money from Congressmen and DPWH employees.
I posted this info on my page last year – that Curlee Discaya or the Discaya couple asked at least three (3) Quezon City Congressmen or Representatives for money in exchange for not naming them or identifying them in the “Discaya Affidavit/Ledger.”
In the Senate hearing, Curlee Discaya admitted asking ₱60 Million from the camp of Congressman Arjo Atayde as “help” or “tulong” for legal fees and other expenses of the Discaya couple.
Reportedly, Curlee Discaya also asked ₱30 Million from the camp of Congressman PM Vargas and ₱100 Million from the camp of former Congressman Marvin Rillo.
Mayor Vico Sotto also publicly validated the claim that the Discayas were asking money or extorting Congressmen and other officials.
Kelan ba magkakaron ng warrant of arrest yan si Curlee Discaya? Nauna pa si Sarah Discaya na makulong kesa sa kanya. 👊
