House plants are new to me as I now have a house instead of a trailer ie more windows and steadier heat. It has been quite the adventure propagating plants and gifting them has to be my favorite. Any of the plants I've been gifted I think of the people who gave them to me.

Old farm dogs have way more tolerance for foolish things. Something about a relationship built on trust. We both put our lives on the line every day. I'd give my life for her safety as well as hers for mine. 💕🌻 the number of stories I've heard from fellow farmers

Our house chicken whom has 1 leg has finally started laying us eggs again after an almost 2yr recovery from a nasty leg injury.

I ran her over

She now resides in the house

No I felt bad I couldn't kill her

Not so worthless.

As a woman farming solo for so long the competing with the johnes really makes you laugh deep because nobody can see the chaos it takes to be successful but they all envy that you mowed hay first. Here's to nobody really knowing all of it and them sulking in jealousy for nothing.

@Matt_Pinner Also 34 yo best advice I've had is don't settle for anything you aren't happy with be it relationships jobs or projects stop doing it if it's bringing you more grief than happiness. Almost 10 yrs since I quit my state job to farm full time.
