@ntsa_kenya@KeNHAKenya@NPSOfficial_KE It's the high time you restore the dignity of the passenger. This matatu is dropping passenger along the Thika Superhighway, a distance far away from the actual destination.
Some people who should know better have abandoned facts and embraced fake news. Instead of informing Kenyans, they are deliberately misleading them.
Take the claims about the NTSA fines payment. The viral narrative was that the money was paid to someone called Cherono. That is simply not true.
The receipt clearly shows that the biller was NTSA FINES. The payment was made through a KCB Bank Agent.
As with any bank transaction, the receipt displays the name of the agent who processed the payment. In this case, that agent was Catherine Jerono Tomno.
She did not receive the money. She only facilitated the transaction on behalf of KCB.
To make the false story believable, those spreading it shared only part of the receipt and left out the section that clearly identifies the biller as NTSA FINES.
I have attached the complete receipt, which speaks for itself.
Before believing or sharing sensational claims, take a moment to check the facts. A full receipt tells the truth. A cropped one can be used to tell almost any story.

During Moi era, this was a symbol of supporting the government. It was wrong to lift 2fingers. How time flies. #Nakuru#kikuyu@methumuhia https://t.co/IgSo1laeZ5
@PoliceKE The motive of this post is far from its content. Someone somewhere is rejoicing the reactions and in this case, the bitter reactions. That was the purpose. Happy #Eid-Ul-Adha.
@hon_wamuchomba I find this as too low as compared to what our country is going through currently. This type of leadership should be safely kept in archives for the deserved ones to surprise us with innovations and development which we urgently need.
Good people, LET US ALL keep retweeting this enough to reach H.E President @WilliamsRuto as a reminder that CS @HonAdenDuale, SHA CEO, and the SHA Chairman must all go
