@TValidakis @QandA Agree it’s terrible but has nothing to do with the original question. 1) They want the ability to comment on how this country goes forward. 2) They would continue living off the land and survived indefinitely without interference from Europeans. 3) We took this land from them.

@TValidakis @QandA Well Tom Validakis, you must be on ice, crack or something. They had enough food to survive thousands of years. Cook and his crew did not bring food and other gifts for the locals. They came and took the land for the British Empire. Now we all have a conscience except you.

@TValidakis @QandA In many ways the comparison of China and Tibet to Australia and how the Fist Nation people feel is true. Maybe if you were Aboriginal you could understand. No to a third chamber but a voice to parliament is reasonable by any measure. I am a new Australian & lucky to have a voice

I recall Paul Keating sat on numerous boards for several years after he left politics. I think they all take advantage of political life

@whitesl365 @QandA @CISOZ Agree, but we need centrist politics as most Australians are “middle of the road”. Far right (Abbott) and far left (Shorten) went down badly with the average Joe and Jane. Albo is heading to the middle and Morrison is not too extreme (yet).
