"fake" or "performative". Not because we actually don't care, but because we often put on a fake persona as a defense mechanism to protect ourselves. So I get that. Like, sometimes we seem fake.

@sailormeth My partner and I have separate rooms so we have space when we need space and then have sleepovers when we want sleepovers

It's especially nice for when one person wants to stay up til 1 AM playing videogames and the other one needs to sleep early bc they have to get up at 6am
