This morning we have had a really interesting trip to the wind turbine at Green Park. Mr Gough told us lots of facts about the turbine and we even got the chance to get close to the turbine. This has helped our understanding of creating clean energy.
This afternoon we have been testing our knowledge about common, proper and collective nouns with a game of snap. We then finished our lesson a game of consequences, where caused great hilarity!
This morning we had two PhD students from @UniRdg_Met to talk to us about weather. We learned lots about how the weather is studied and measured. This led to us asking lots and lots of questions!
Today we have been experimenting to discover how to change a material's state. We placed chocolate buttons in different temperatures to see which liquid would melt the chocolate the fastest.
It was lovely seeing so many of you at our sharing assembly. Your children were all incredible and relished the opportunity to showcase their hard work. Thank you for all your wonderful comments, it is very much appreciated.
Preparations were underway early this morning and our pepperpot stews are now cooking. The smell of jerk seasoning was well received, fingers crossed for the taste!
