As of 11a today, 9/2, Lowell has strengthened to a category 5 system which will pass south of the Hawaiian Islands over the next several days and possibly turn right to the north over the weekend. Following Lowell are 2 more storm systems, Category 4 Karina & Tropical Storm Marie. Even if these storms don't directly impact the islands, they may still bring strong winds & heavy rains, so we urge customers to prepare their ohana.
