@McFaul Depends on what one thinks of Churchill. For example, he was responsible for a famine in India that killed millions. But that sort of stuff doesn't figure in your thinking, does it?
@BlrCityPolice is there any timing when loud noises are not allowed? A kalyan mantapa in Koramangala 8th block is playing music beyond 11p.m. (violating Covid guidelines) and started again already before 6 a.m. How are people supposed to sleep?
@lexfridman I think you be mistaking Netflix making a business decision for the company having a spine. I don't have the data but am pretty sure that Rogan's inane bullshit rakes in more money than Neil Young's music.
@julie_pignataro Their personal idea of style? As someone hoping to publish fiction myself, I give a lot of leeway to different forms in which content is presented. But of course, your own preferences are your own.
@CMassaro723 Nope. A pretty robust system checked some of the worst impulses of the orange clown. That system's Indian counterpart has been subverted beyond belief. All that's left is mismanagement, and blatant lies and blame-shifting to try and cover up that shoddy job.
@TheOtherRosie@Qafzeh To the best of my limited knowledge, those were bones of other Neanderthals. Could you possibly share a link with me?
Bon appetit!
@TheOtherRosie@Qafzeh Actually, I remember reading something several years ago about a theory that said the opposite: that modern humans ate Neanderthals. But I don't know if either of those is true. Seems to me that neither practice could have been very widespread.
@Whatsin70343652 @Qafzeh@NuitElsker Whose logic? I am only reporting what the study says. Even my headline says that clearly. Why not read the actual paper on which it is based before spouting hypotheses if your own?
@TheOtherRosie@Qafzeh There is no specific evidence (not yet at least) suggesting this was a common practice among Neanderthals. Also, cannibalism isn't exactly unknown (even in modern times) among us homo sapiens.
