When an #indiegame becomes successful, other companies will try to take them down

"MOVIE GAMES SA (17/2025) Decision to commence investigation against the creators of the Schedule 1 production for claims regarding the infringement of the Issuer’s IP"
This is so unfair, got my channel terminated due impersonation of myself, meanwhile there's a real impersonator with the username vitzyofficial, does this mean I can't have a channel? Anyone knows what to do?
Was looking at @RPGPaperMaker because someone on reddit was ranting about how a gamedev was trying to sell courses on how to make games using this engine.
Looks like it's heavily inspired by #RPGMaker as the base, but then goes on to offer extra features. Also, free open-source
Looking at some of the games that others have made, overall it seems there is a limitation on the visual quality. https://t.co/qCLNAf0GQb
There's this game which looks pretty good, so you can definitely achieve less blocky looking results, but I'm not sure how much is custom
My main issue here is, it doesn't look visually appealing. Could I have a 3D model for the main player? Could I have high-resolution sprites? I have no idea, and none of the marketing material shows an example of this.
I assume this is a limitation of the engine.
I think there is promise with the 3D support, especially if you can craft intricate 3D worlds the same way you would build a base in #palworld by putting a bunch of floors and walls and ceilings together.
Here's a "mountain" created using walls.
Was at an artist alley recently and came across someone that made a physical version of #FF7Rebirth's Queen's Blood mini-game and thought it was interesting.
Thinking of making a totally-not-legit copywrite-strike-able digital version because of course I love grids.
