I stumbled upon this desperate mother’s 2019 FB post last night and cannot believe I never heard of this case. Heartbreaking.

The boys were seen breaking into a marina in the early morning hours of March 17, 1995 over by Lake Ontario. Local police believed they may have stolen a boat and experienced tragedy offshore, but Bruce Ricketts, a PI for the families who’s worked the case since 2010, thinks there’s more to the story. I’ve copied a press release he shared in 2022 below.

I hope for all of their families that answers will be found. No parent should ever have to wonder what happened to their child.

PI Ricketts helps manage the “Lost Boys of Pickering” FB page and has written a book, “The Lost Boys of Pickering: What We Know and What We Believe” to share full details of his findings. He has also established a tip line, urging potential witnesses to come forward.
