The growth of insurance premiums slowed down as well:
"average premium growth rates slowed to 3.8 percent per year from 2010 to 2015 compared with an average 4.7 percent from 2006 to 2010"

"Ask someone" is not a scientific study that can give me the overall picture.
@WhitMomma@BillMelugin_ No, it doesn’t. In many states illegal immigrants don’t receive any benefits. And unemployment is low, so no jobs are stolen. They create economic output that helps grow the economy.
@HFSII85@BillMelugin_ Overstaying a visa is not a crime, and crossing the border illegally is nothing compared to crimes like rape or murder. It’s incredibly stupid to give them the same priority.
@NoIvyLeaguer@wendy_nm@bjbudg@BillMelugin_ I didn’t say I trust them. We have law enforcement agencies because we don’t trust people. If someone steals benefits, then I have no issue with catching those people and deporting them.
@McBsdmg56@BillMelugin_ If you’re a peaceful, hardworking person, I’ll focus my resources on catching rapists and murderers before I start worrying about you.
It would be incredibly stupid for me to give you the same priority.
That’s not true. Using a stolen SSN to work doesn’t destroy credit scores. It’s not the same as opening credit accounts in the victim’s name. Also, the IRS doesn’t place liens if the taxes are paid.
I’m talking about people who pay taxes, don’t steal benefits, use insurance, etc.
@Marcstout2@BillMelugin_ Eric Adams was above the law. If we can ignore corruption and pardon violent criminals, then we can definitely choose not to prosecute people for harmless offenses like overstaying a visa.
@wendy_nm@bjbudg@BillMelugin_ You can call them whatever you want, it doesn’t change the fact that there are no victims of their offenses.
Again, it’s incredibly stupid to give victimless offenses the same priority as rape or murder.
@Jaxsonshoney@BChase2327@BillMelugin_ 1) Overstaying a visa is not a crime 2) Crossing the border illegally is nothing compared to rape, murder, and other crimes. It’s incredibly stupid to give them the same priority.
@wendy_nm@bjbudg@BillMelugin_ Sure, after most murderers, rapists, and fraudsters are caught. But giving them all the same priority is incredibly stupid.
