One has gone to Air very noisy when below 0C the other has struggled in even redrilling and still not good. We have two ground loops, a 400m+£300m and it's great, because the house is well insulated and built around the system

@GrahamGords1001 @latimeralder We have GSHP, the decision was made when I couldn't buy into ASHP when minus 15C when living in a caravan whilst house was built. We have the bonus of wet ground and don't see the brine input temp dropping below ~8C until Feb/Mar (normally). Currently 12C a meter down.

@latimeralder Have had a GSHP for 15 years when we built our house no mains gas. In a properly insulated house running with underfloor (downstairs) and large radiators upstairs it actually runs very well set at 19C (very cold weather we might raise it to 20-21C). Not suitable for all.

@ClarkeMicah No VAT on university fees. In the UK, tuition provided by "eligible bodies," such as recognized universities and higher education colleges, is exempt from VAT.

Why is that? There should be NO TAXES on education.
