@ferrell_peter @PTPHockey You can’t cut anybody any slack in the NHL. I would not care if they had 0 goals and 0 assists if they just kept the opposition away from the crease. Don’t even care about shots. Make people pay for standing in the crease.

@ferrell_peter @PTPHockey It didn’t sound like that, sorry. Sounded like a math lesson and a lot about puck luck. Which even that is focused on offense and having more goals go in “luckily” for you. Had you said the D repeatedly missed their assignments, even 3 and 5, I’d understand better. Good read tho

@PTPHockey The absolutely astounding thing is it’s all offensively minded. No real mention of crease clearing and playing actual defensive D. And after reading it, none of the guys sound REALLY bad, yet we sit at 4-8-2 or whatever.

Just-recalled Dryden Hunt was 10th in our preseason #FlaPanthers prospect rankings...very dangerous wrist shot and one-timer, goes to the dirty areas, protects the puck well, & uses his above-average vision to make plays. Willing to play 2-way game, skating has seen improvements.
