I post this out of respect to the work of @Warcraft and all of the amazingly talented artist at Blizzard. With that said...The Dracthyr could be a lot cooler in my book. Did a paint-over for fun while trying to stay within the "bounds" they are trying to set.
It's been some time, but here you have a little experiment I did in the last two days, I'm tempted to do all the raids, but you know...time and all that.
@BlizzardWatch It seems like you guys didn't learn anything from the class homogenization back in the day. When you have the same diversity everywhere there is no diversity at all. If both factions get the same races, you lose the factions. Good bait tho, the white power part made me laugh.
@Greywall_@TaliesinEvitel But there is no narrative, that's what I'm complaining about, there is no official explanation, is just there. If they use it on NPCs and give it an explanation, fantastic then.
@Greywall_@TaliesinEvitel I mean, I have one for example, based on the Demon Hunter skins, they have darker skins, so they could explain it by saying that really fel saturated Belves have really dark skin, there you go, an explanation.
@Greywall_@TaliesinEvitel But that's the thing, we are not talking about a new variant of a race, or about an entirely new race, this is a new skin color that is radically contrary to one of the iconic features of the race, even outside of Warcraft. Just give it an explanation.
@valarynn From where are you taking that I don't care about the other stuff that has been done in this universe? we are talking about this topic now, if you want we can talk about other stuff, like the no explanation for why the titan souls where in Antorus, for example.
@FenrisSvartulf@TaliesinEvitel I'm not frustrated, I just want Blizz to explain out of the blue changes, because as you said there are plenty of them, we don't need more. And if you are going to insult me calling me racist, you can go F yourself, sweetheart.
@valarynn@TaliesinEvitel What do you mean says who? skin color separates backgrounds in some warcraft races, like Orcs for example, where was the outrage when brown orcs were introduced? Nowhere, because they explained the whole thing, and people actually ended up wanting to play them, and now we can.
@valarynn@TaliesinEvitel Hair colors don't tend to require an explanation because hair is not important in Warcraft, it doesn't represent anything, skin/eye colors are important because they tell you the background of some races, especially when it comes to H/Belves.
@unlimitedBLACK@TaliesinEvitel That's not how writing a universe works, and I don't know what deal are you talking about, if you don't explain changes in your world people will end up not caring about it.
@handclaw I mean, you did a fantastic job with the sets, I think we all would love to see them in-game, although it's not that easy obviously, but we can dream!
