😨🗣️ Santi Cazorla recounts how he came close to getting his leg amputated in 2016 after a minor injury three years earlier:
"I took a hit that fractured a bone in my foot (during a friendly with Spain in 2013). That's when I started the corticosteroid injections to mask the pain.
The skin was very damaged by so many injections. It was dead and wouldn't heal. And during the operation, I caught an infection. That's when the ordeal began.
They operated on me every month without understanding what was happening. When I returned to Spain for a second opinion, my achilles tendon was gangrenous over 11cm. 😳
People often said I was downplaying the real severity of the injury. In the end, my denial helped me stay optimistic.
Tests showed that my left arm was the most suitable for a skin graft. I had my daughter's tattoo in that spot. The result is that I have the other half of that tattoo on my foot now. 💉
Today, I smile at this little sign of fate." 😁
There's a formula. It's not that hard to go through it. Just requires people to be less selfish and be willing to look at the bigger picture rather than personal glory. Not sure if it's something we can ever do in Pakistan because hey, it's always me over you!
@Kosi_foottalk Why will officials change the laws before the game, only to go back to it in the game. This tells us many things about the running of our football. Laws just can't be changed while a competition is ongoing

#Etoudi2025
