There’s always a tweet. I look forward to the day when Mr Colquhoun and other SNP HQ staff will be called upon to give evidence about this and other matters.
Police were clearly hampered in their initial investigation into Murrell etc. by no comment interviews. Now that we have an admission that funds which were repeatedly stated to be ring fenced for one purpose have been spent on other purposes might they look at things afresh?
More evidence of the contemptuous attitude of the Scottish government towards scrutiny & legal process. This is all about covering up the conspiracy to remove Alex Salmond from public life in which the principal actors were public servants hand in glove with Murrell & others.
In 2020, the SNP said it was “categorically not true” that the ring-fenced Indyref2 fund had been spent on election campaigning. “Utter nonsense,” the party said.
This was certainly not my experience or indeed that of others when we asked legitimate questions about the governance of the Party and its financial affairs and I would be happy to give evidence on oath to this effect.
SNP in 2017: “The funding that was raised during the period of the https://t.co/9GNa9u2YKu crowdfunder will only be used for the specific purpose of a referendum campaign. In that regard, the money is earmarked."
The Radio BritNat phone-in is again projecting an English issue onto Scotland. There is no upset "right across the country" after a murder in Southampton. What this phone-in is doing is making it more likely the usual suspects up here will be aware of the situation and copy it.
BBC Scotland News is no longer set up to provide mature & balanced coverage of Scottish politics. [Was it ever?] The news department has been stripped of experience and intellect. It's gone full BritNat tabloid.
A mix of awkward chit-chat and tabloid hype is killing programmes. We have a vested interest in listening but find ourselves switching off because things are so bad.
The station is a mess. A Murrell inquiry? We need a parliamentary inquiry into the misappropriation of Scottish TV licence cash. It's tantamount to fraud.
@msm_monitor@ChildOfAlba Douglas Alexander also needs to clarify how Consequitor Ltd, jointly owned with his wife, qualified for R&D tax credits in 2023, resulting in a £4.5k rebate on profits of at least £367k for the year. What R&D was a management consultancy doing? Has it been queried by HMRC?

@msm_monitor@mutifuki Sounds as if Mandelson was actually leading the Labour party thru McSweeney, McFadden, Alexander and the rest of his acolytes whilst Starmer fronted it.
TIME FOR A PUBLIC ENQUIRY!!
@msm_monitor The meeting was only declared this year, after Alexander realised the Petie emails would out him. He had no intention of ever declaring it, and we would never have known had the Mamdelson scandal not blown up in their faces.
He needs to resign.
Douglas Alexander broke the law by not declaring he met with Mandelson's lobbying firm. His position as Secretary of State for Scotland is now untenable. The story is so big even BBC Scotland isn't ignoring it.
