According to @JBreakingNews: a person armed with a knife entered a synagogue near 16th Avenue and 54th Street in Boro Park, Brooklyn.

There are reports that at least one person was stabbed inside, and that the suspect has barrıcaded himself insıde.

Jews in this city keep getting attacked for being Jews. Upper West Side stabbings. Central Synagogue stormed on Shabbat. The response should be the same as it should have been after every other incident: treat it as a hate crime, don’t be ambiguous about the motive, and stop pretending this is random street crime. It’s an attack on the civil rights of Jewish New Yorkers.
