@homo_dachi I don't think he was trying to gaslight him, I just mean that Eito seems primed to defend/justify himself by just rejecting other people's perspectives.

I was being flippant but I think that habit was bleeding into his jokes a bit and he realized that and decided to reverse it

@homo_dachi I also like how in 2S he's still distinctly himself, there's one moment where Takumi brings up R0 Eito nearly killing him and he almost instinctively gaslights him with "maybe I mistook you for an invader :p" before catching himself and reassuring Takumi.

@homo_dachi I like how the game doesn't act as if there's one "true" version of any of the characters.

ME Eito had the potential to change, and 2S Eito could have stayed a monster. People can change in dramatic ways, but it's not like they flip a switch and become a different person.

I love genderswap AUs but for this game at least it just cannot be universal, my one exception to this is a joke timeline where Takumi and Yugamu bond over being the only two guys in the SDU.

Characters like Takumi, Kurara, & Gaku could be genderswapped but again, gender is a huge focus for all three of them so it'd be difficult.

And the flipside of this is that there's nothing barring V'exhness from being a guy except for how spiritually wrong that feels.
