A woman is in pain and her husband won’t sign the consent form for a Caesarean Section (CS).
A woman who is mentally alert and competent can sign her own consent form. We cannot continue to lose mothers and babies because of ignorance.

@EEgwuono And even if you want to ask, there are better things to ask. "What are your boundaries during intimacy? Like things you don't like or can't do?" This tells a lot about the person rather than asking for body counts.
@EEgwuono I don't think there's a problem with asking about the sexual experiences of someone you intend to be with but most first dates are usually at the early stage of the relationship and there are better things to ask to improve the bond and connection.
@EEgwuono Usually, they ask women to shame them for their sexual experiences. Like "what do you mean 20 body counts? She is bringing an overused product to you!"
@yvessirae I am so amazed at how much women in the past struggled so hard just to give us the life we're living now🥹
I keep imagining "what if they didn't stand up?" and that's why I know I can't stop. I have to build a better life for women coming after me.
Alice Paul was imprisoned in 1917 for demanding women's right to vote.
In prison, she began a hunger strike.
The authorities responded with force-feeding - strapping her to a chair, forcing a metal device into her mouth, and pushing a tube down her throat to pour liquid food into her stomach.
After four months, she was released weighing only 33 kilograms, too weak to walk.
But six weeks later, she returned to protest again.
In 1920, when women finally won the right to vote, she was 35 years old and cast her first ballot.
She died in 1977.
Some rights were not given.
They were suffered for.
@diaryofa9jagirl I honestly struggle to understand how people think CS makes you less of a woman. Are both methods not about pushing the baby out? Why should women have to choose the one that may cost their lives in the name of being strong?
@TheCakegurl The problem is not even the information for me, it's the way he said it. You can politely say where you live if you know the person you're talking to may be living in another region.
But which one is "lives in the UK"? Make I dey worship you?😂

This past week in Cape Canaveral, I was at a coffee bar ordering a drink when I noticed a guy working on a laptop with a NASA sticker. I politely asked if they worked for my company, said no and mentioned he owned an aerospace business.
Before I mentioned my role, he was completely rude and dismissive, even threw his business card at me, mind you he was in arms reach, and could of handed it to me.
After I mentioned I’m a flight software engineer , his tone changed completely changed…
Him suddenly realizing I was an established industry peer the look of sheer consternation.
Being a woman in STEM the daily life experience … and dont have the nerve to be attractive too.
They will constantly question your capabilities.
