Life burdens some people with heavier loads than others.
The pain can feel boiling hot, overwhelming, and exhausting; so much that to keep moving forward feels almost impossible but the real lesson is that this “race” called life isn’t won by who had the best starting position. We all begin with different advantages or disadvantages then we meet people along the way, some stay, some drop out due to reasons beyond their control, unexpected tragedies, limitations, detours.
What ultimately matters is reaching the finish line with purpose and leaving something meaningful behind.
Enjoy your weekend 🥂
This was my mum pics a day she came from Omugwo, the second pics is a week for her to travel back to base
The best care you can give your parents is when they are alive, not that befitting burial of a thing
Sending money to them don’t do justice because they are many things they need fund for, stock up for them and deliver them then give them cash for other petty things
I don’t have the world but eating good can make one look fresh and younger in space of two months, no cream,no makeup just eat good and balance diet
It hurts so badly knowing that despite everything we do 97% of life’s outcomes remain completely unknown.
It’s not about being a good or caring person. It’s not about following all the rules. It’s not about working harder or loving deeper.
Some things are simply out of our hands.
And that truth cuts the deepest for me 👌
While growing up, SARS once raided my street and picked up all the young boys playing football outside on a Saturday.
My brother’s friend was among them. He was only 20 years old and had just started learning mechanics.
When his parents went to bail him, they were told he was a cultist and had been transferred to Kirikiri Prison.
A week later, his mum went to see him. They told her he had died due to overcrowding.
Whenever I think about him, my heart breaks. He was innocent.
