Every Saturday my husband and I get up and start a fire, open the Bible, and read to eachother. We then discuss theology over coffee. This is my favorite time of the week!
Sometimes I think about how my husband was a homeless drug addict and now we do this … no one can tell me that Jesus Christ isn’t real, I have the proof. He went to 20 rehabs and detoxes, he lived in the Salvation Army in SF for 2 years after being homeless in skid row in LA, he never stayed clean.. nothing worked.
The day he gave his life to Jesus Christ he never used drugs again and was made new in an instant. It was truly miraculous, I saw it happen.
