Perfume people will call what happened “maceration”.
[Moving on, I will oversimplify]
Naturally, when perfume brands make perfumes they allow it sit for a while like a month or so, these is known as “maturation”. Some call it “aging”. This allows the perfume oils to interact with each other and become smoother.
But sometimes, when perfume companies make perfumes like independent batches, they maybe in a rush to release it into the market to meet demand, so it ends up not “maturing” in their own end. When you get it, you’re getting oils in the perfume that have not bonded properly, fragrance notes that have not smoothened up. It may not even project well or last long. In fact, you may even think you both a fake perfume.
Now, to the question, what changed? What happened with your perfume is known as “maceration”. As you used the perfume and it was also kept in your place, the concentrates in the perfume fully dissolved. As you used it, trapped air escaped from the perfume bottle deepening the scent profile.
This can take anywhere from a week to a month or so depending on how much maturation it had received from the manufacturer this is why you started feeling it towards the end of the perfume. What some frag heads do is, once they get a perfume and the notes are not balanced or off-putting, they macerate it. The keep it in a dry cool place and allow it sit for a week or 2weeks, some will even let it sit for a month or two. This allows full maturation and they enjoy their fragrance from there.

You learn by mistakes. When you make those mistakes, you try not to make them the third time or the second time. You learn from them.
