Although this year’s yarn club is frog themed, we also have many other nature collections such as bird inspired yarn. Also, when I seek subscribers for the monthly club, what I wish to do is connect with folk who may not know it exists. Please spread the word!

All the new greys shown together in the first photo. From the top, they are: Haar, Lilac Grey, Grey Woman, and Thunder. Image two shows popular repeatable greys: Silver Lining, A Nice Grey, Charcoal, and Grey Squirrels at a Rave (with UV reactive neps). Which is your favourite?
The sheep here live in the forest by the fjord and wear bells. There aren’t as many of them now that some farmers have retired so the forest is over growing.

“Inner Fire” is another bright colour that I dyed an extra batch of for summer. It’s a UV reactive mix of flaming red, orange, and yellow, with black speckles representing debris.

“Lilac Grey”, a pretty and unusual shade that would be gorgeous with one of the multitude of speckle floral colourways currently available.

“Sunshine”, another colourway I took the time to create a new batch of before leaving for Norway. You can still buy while I’m away provided you can handle delayed gratification. #mothyandthesquid#yarn#knitting#crochet
There was a run on “Sunflowers” just before I left so I dyed two more batches. You can still order while I am away and I will dispatch upon my return. Future you will be delighted to get happy mail! #mothyandthesquid#yarn#knitting#crochet
“Haar”, sometimes know as sea fret is a cold sea fog, occurring most often on the East coast of Scotland during Summer, when warm air passes over the cold North Sea. It’s a delightfully understated pretty blue grey.

“Fruit Popsicle”, a fabulous mix of berry pinks and purples. It is the last of my summer offerings before we go away to visit family. Please enjoy the picture. #mothyandthequid#yarn#knitting#crochet
“Summer Pond” is the latest addition to the Waterlily Collection. It’s a stunning, light mix of purple, pink, blue, and green speckles. Today is the last full day to choose your holiday craft materials as we will be away visiting family next week.

“Speckled Iris” for light summer vibes. I think it would be gorgeous combined with the colourway I posted yesterday. What would you pair it with? #mothyandthesquid#yarn#knitting#crochet
Striking a balance between new colourways and repeatable is tricky. Socially media only likes novelty but humans buy the same favourites that others do. This is “Purple Sky”, which I think would pair beautifully with “Speckled Iris”. #yarn#knitting#crochet#mothyandthesquid
Hand-dyed yarn is not like the fast fashion and plastic tat you see online that looks great in photos but is disappointing when you receive it. Quite the opposite, indie dyers produce beautiful and unique skeins intended to delight. #mothyandthesquid#yarn#knitting#crochet
“Pink Kisses” is a variety of Dianthus with abundant flowers in a mix of deep magenta and sugar pink on 87% superwash merino with 13% pima cotton. I use dyes that bind wool but not cotton for a stunning glint of white. #mothyandthesquid#yarn#knitting#crochet
“Tropical Ocean Calm” on 87% merino 13% with a wonderful velvety texture and stunning visual effect. I use dyes that bind to the wool but not the cotton for a beautiful glint of white surf.

“Peacock” on the new merino/cotton blend, which you can learn more about by looking at previous posts or even (heaven forbid!) visiting my website, which is full of gorgeous yarn photos but devoid of ragebait. #mothyandthesquid#yarn#knitting#crochet
