This is the common rhetoric that is placed in the military for maintaining the chain of command which strips a soldier of free will to understand the morality of what he is doing. And the forged morality is sometimes provided by the superiors.

Who designs a society, creates, tells how to live, controls the narrative, and controls media? Well, that's government.
Who controls the government? Well generally these are big corporations who wield significant influence through lobbying and funds.
