1,900 year old Iron swords were found in a cave in the Judean Desert in Israel.
The iron swords were hidden by Jewish rebels during the revolt against the Roman Empire.
During the revolt, many rebels fled to the desert and hid weapons, coins and ancient writings.

Either way, the story of the scroll indicates the panic and fear that prevailed among the Jews at that time, and leaves us and the researchers with many questions.
If the treasure does exist, it may have already been found and used by various locals who found it hundreds of years ago, or it may be buried deep under established neighborhoods.
