@NickSoderstrom Such I good idea, openers of some kind are important for me bc my school is on a block schedule so I may not see a class for 4 days! Recalling info can make/break a lesson! I use bell ringers most of the time.

Teachers: Exit tickets are pretty popular, but may I suggest using ENTRANCE tickets. If older material is mixed in with the new, you'd be combining three powerful learning strategies--retrieval, spacing, and interleaving--in a single exercise!
