I am still bewildered of how the west with great amount of money/might failed to develop fierce measures while implementing the broad-based project! From the very outset, it seemed rather ill-assorted to #Afg. But what baffles me is why the Afghans never expressed discontent???
#Period
Amid growing destitution, uncertainty, lack of aid, and economic recession, #Afghans have been facing another #phenomenon i.e. "ethno-nationalism" squabble in social media. Strikingly and shamefully, people involved are highly educated, not uncultured or ignorant.
#Afg have recently came out of prolong conflict. Pre-Taliban regime, I do remember pple saying "we need peace at the cost of anything" which we have surprisingly gained Alhamdulellah. This so-called hatreds will destroy us and rip us apart. At this critical moment, we need unity.
The ordinary people in Afghanistan don't see Taliban as Pashtun or Tajik phenomenon. They slowly & gradually started to accept the new reality and deal with it. Some are even happy with the new government. Other than that, millions of people are in dire need for urgent help.
IEA has to come clear about the fate of 1.5 million Afghan schoolgirls. They have missed up a year and —almost on the brink of uncertainty that they (girls) would never be allowed to attend schools afterwards —have become their very core belief.
Through the centuries of #Afghan history, neighbors have always had casted seeds of division and kept us apart from living under one roof. However, in a sense to degrade your fellow brothers by picking a futile issues is not a good manner, but rather distinctly harmful to us.
The counternarritives and fearful hatreds arises from trivial matters on #TwitterSpace is quite scarey and at times divisive. The multi-ethnic and multi-cultural #Afghanistan is beautiful when people from all walks of life show oneness and unity and sense of harmony......
Will have a massive public repercussions and indefatigable demonstrations. Freedom of space and expression and the freedom to criticize and advocate is the fundamental rights of human being. #FreeProfessorJalal
#ProfessorJalal is an encyclopedia of knowledge and a fierce critic of human rights violators. He criticized consequent successive rulers in the past two decades and never bowed before them and dared to reveal the truths to its people. Putting him behind the bars...
#FreeJalal
Pan-Americanism and pro zionist continuesly and yet clandestinely championed the human massacre in Iraq and Afghanistan. Destroyed people's lives and tortured them in covert concentration camps illegally and cowardly.
20 years of this illegal inhumane project by the so called champions of human rights for the torture and illegal detention of innocent human beings. Guantanamo Bay Prison is a permanent stain on the reputation of America. #GITMO20
The internal legitimacy can't be gained through oppression of critics, HR advocates and Impartial journalists, but through extending soft power. Respecting the opposing views and paying attention to reform the system can be beneficial to legitimacy of Govt. #FreeUstadJalal
No blame game. 20 years of successive governments did contributed to the civilian
casualties more than 50 terrorists org that covertly operated.
Though the Taliban regime was the worst in the history of #Afg, the past 20 years of crimes outweighs the 1990s cruel regime's.
Whataboutism is no defense.
Afghanistan suffered greatly under Taliban rule before 2001.
The records of the past 20 years is open to criticism & anyone who has committed war crime must be held accountable in a proper forum.
Taliban caused most of civilian casualties per UN.
The richest 20% of Pakistanis (mostly military generals and politicians) have 50% of the national income. Pakistani military establishment is a corrupt filthy entity, not only for Afghanistan but for its own people too. #SanctionPakistan
@LikeWaterMySon True, Pakistan has always see Afghanistan through the prism of duplicity. Never stand on their commitment either through diplomatic channels and other forums took place on a regional level. That's why, most of Taliban and Afghans don't like Pakistan as their neighbor.
