Final call to local businesses who would like to support MOVE Amherst. Deadline to get on the map and MOVE Amherst Website is Friday, Sept. 5 2:35pm. We want to finalize the 2019/2020 MOVE Amherst Map and get people on the historic trail for the fall.

Joan Miller Rosenbusch stopped by MLS yesterday with quite the unique item. I don't know that I've ever seen a legitimate attendance officer badge. According to Joan, the last person to utilize this would have been Mary Galloway.

Some of the more unique items include Miss Marion L. Steele’s monogrammed leather briefcase, Mr. Fred Powers’ personal movie camera, a class photo from 1933, and a custom comic from Tom Batiuk of Funky Winkerbean & Crankshaft fame.

Mary Powers-Miller showed this to me over the weekend; She wasn't sure of the year, but it does show the extent of Central's playground...a lonely "whilry-bird" as she called it. You and I would recognize it as a merry-go-round :)
