@MrHarnden Great work with 7th grade discussing the history and origin Civil Rights Movement. Taking a step away from Ancient History to discuss inspirational and important figures in Black History and connecting to today was an important lesson for our students.
@WMHSTanners if you've taken an elective with us in the past and are considering another next year, check out our suggested groupings. We offer over 15 electives, many were developed from student suggestions! Our passionate teachers are ready to share their interests with you!
Snow is coming, and we still have several #Woburn seniors who need help with shoveling. We have seniors near the Joyce, near the library and North Woburn who need help. Volunteers for this weekend as well as for the rest of the winter welcomed!

I am seeking donations of Percy Jackson books! Specifically, I have many students who are flying through "Lightning Thief" and are seeking book 2 "Sea of Monsters."
I am happy to come pick up any donations or they can be dropped off at the main office @KMSWoburn. Thank you!
Please congratulate Leah, Shayla, Bradley, Shiv, and Drew on finishing in the top 5 in their category at the DECA district IV competition. Missing are Jack and Larry. Picture to follow. Moving on to states in March. @wmhs_principal
Mr. Farren’s 7th graders finished their Canopic Jars. This was quite the undertaking but the students really enjoyed the activity and the end result looks 👍🏻. Great job Mr. Farren and students- keep it up! @KMSWoburn
Mr. Scarborough is the first to use our new BreakoutEdu kits! He created a custom made game to review for a test. At Station 4 students had to answer the questions correctly to unlock the box containing the lens viewer, which they used to reveal the next clue. Great work all!
Spending the morning in Mr. Farren's history class making Canopic Jars and learning about their significance in Ancient Egypt. Great job, Kennedy students!
