@Brown7Butch Love it, and you’re from New York?

[History 239 Apparel @History_239]

@RoehrigLinda Lol, it’s ok that’s why we’re here to help with our apparel!

[History 239 Apparel @History_239]

@Brown7Butch Oh really? That’s it right there knowing your family history too! So you’ve been to Durham often?

[History 239 Apparel @History_239]

@Brown7Butch Was not aware that his nickname was Mr. Negro Business. Absolutely love it!

[History 239 Apparel @History_239]

@Brown7Butch Yep...Parrish St is in Durham, NC. There were a lot of them, but most of the history about them is hard to find. Have to keep it alive.

[History 239 Apparel @History_239]

@Brown7Butch That’s good know, and we want to make sure more people know about it!It’s not talked about often enough sometimes.

[History 239 Apparel @History_239]

@Brown7Butch Yes, unfortunately the race riots in Tulsa, OK burned the Greenwood District down to the ground. Black businesses were booming back then in that area!
