Continuing our political talks programme, we were fortunate to have Baroness Parminter (Lib Dem) today. Our students asked her a range of questions, with a special focus on environmental issues.
On Thursday 29 February, we will be welcoming Baroness Parminter of Godalming to deliver a talk on the politics of climate change. This talk will take place at 4:30pm in the Old ibrary and will finish at approximately 5:30pm, with parking available on the main playground.
Our Politics students are planning questions for our talk with Lord Michael Heseltine on Thursday. What an opportunity to hear his views. We have already researched his assessment of Margaret Thatcher:

Thanks to @BL_EcclesCentre for organising the US Politics Conference. Our students are listening to academics and two former members of the US Congress. A year today, the USA will be voting in presidential elections.
Thanks to all the students on the USA 2023 trip - you were a great group. A big thank you to Mr Tennant and Mrs Cline. Two very special teachers, who took great care of all.
We pity the fool who doesn't accessorize with #ArchivesSparkle✨! In the words of Mr. T:
"I believe in the Golden Rule. The man with the gold...rules."
