1. Build enough homes, fast enough, in the places people actually live
Housing is still the structural failure. Completions are running well below what is needed to clear the backlog; homelessness is at record levels (over 17,500 people, including thousands of children); prices remain stretched versus incomes. Planning delays, water connections, grid capacity and local obstruction keep supply tight. Every extra year of this prices young workers out, keeps adults in childhood bedrooms, and inflates rents. That is not a left or right problem. It is a state that cannot match population and household formation with bricks.

A deeply disturbing “judgment” from Northern Ireland.

In Curistan v IBRC [2025] NIKB 69, the court found that Anglo Irish Bank “mis-sold” a £60 million interest-rate swap. I contend that the swap was fraudulently sold.

The judgment never meaningfully addresses what Anglo knew about its own potential insolvency when it entered the swap on

🔹The lending began in 1999 and increased repeatedly.

🔹By June 2008, Anglo’s exposure to Sheridan Millennium Ltd was approximately £72.8 million.

🔹On 25 July 2008, an internal Anglo email appeared under the heading “Compulsory hedging”, recording “pressure from London” to hedge large unhedged sterling exposures.

Here are my takeaways from the Lindsay Clancy case:

1) White liberal women support her because it makes them feel like heroes. "I was depressed and on SSRIs too, but I was stronger." So it's self-centered adulation disguised as empathy.

2) If she was guilty (she is), any good mother would be begging for the death penalty.

3) If she is not guilty ("it was big Pharma's fault"), any good mother would be begging for suicide.

4) NEVER EVER put yourself in a situation where your livelihood is dependent on a Blue state, majority female jury....
